Capturing Light

I have always been intrigued by light, both natural and artificial. Light defines everything I look at. The same object appears different depending on the light of day I am looking at it and so forth.

With this in mind, from time to time, I create what I call plastic object stain glass windows. Having neither the patience, or desire, to create glass stained windows, I use various plastic and glass objects, gluing them to a window pane. This results in a varied diffusion of light filtering through the window panes.

My latest window, now hanging at Crossroads Coffee in Richmond.
