At least three years ago, this painting hung in my hotel room in Denver, Colorado. I was struck by its simplicity, took a photo of it and tucked it away.
Last year, inspired by Purple Tulips, I started a painting I call Black Cat in Purple Tulips. But I put it down, unfinished. I thought I was "stuck."
Today, I have picked it up again with new energy to complete it. Goes to say, art lives within no time limits and why I am always trying to keep my art eye active. I never know when which pieces will come together. How or when. I'll be sending an update as this painting develops...
